I love the straight forward simplicity of this site. You can get right to what you're looking for with the minimum of clicks (my lazyness coming out in me again!). When you enter the dating direct site for the first time you'll be able to select your country so you wont end up finding someone you like and then discovering they're over the other side of the world! Because of this country selection, you're then able to further narrow down your searches by selecting your region. This is something that a lot of the other sites reviewed lacked.

The navigation on this site is fantastic. Just click on the picture of someone you like the look of browse their profile. Still like them? Simply add them to your favourites and continue browsing the other matches. After you've got your collection of "favourites" you can begin contacting them all.

This simplicity unfortunately means that you wont find any online chat features on this site or any of the other more advanced features as on the other sites. But then, you will pay for them. This site offers very competative membership costs!

This is another site that is expanding by hosting off-line events in your local areas. I haven't actually been to one of these, but from the sounds of it they're great fun! It's also a great way to meet people with the same things in common as you. Plus it's safe! In addition to this, they also provide an article on useful dating tips.

The great news is, it's free to join and get using the service. If you like you can take advantage of the "premier" membership which entitles you to view members' additional photos, get invites to the offline singles functions etc. But you don't have to deal with that right now.
